Privacy Policy — Bhakti Path

Last updated: 17 September 2026
Bhakti Path is designed to work fully on your own device. This policy explains what data the app touches — and, just as importantly, what it does not.

1 No Account, No Servers

The app does not require sign-up or login, and it does not send your activity to any server. There is no backend — everything you see is generated and stored on your phone.

2 What Is Stored On Your Device

Your preferences (such as dark mode, text size, or reminder time), any custom mantras you add, your japa counts, and your practice history are saved only in the app's local storage on your device. There is no cloud sync. Uninstalling the app removes this data.

3 No Analytics, No Ads, No Tracking

The app does not use advertising SDKs, analytics trackers, or any third-party service that profiles you. We do not know who is using the app or how, and we cannot see your practice history — it never leaves your device.

4 Microphone, Speech & Permissions

The app may use your device's built-in text-to-speech engine to read chants aloud. This is processed on-device by the operating system, not by us, and no audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere.

5 Children's Privacy

Since the app collects no personal data and has no accounts, no personal information is gathered from users of any age.

6 Changes To This Policy

If this app ever changes to add features that involve real data collection, this page will be updated first, and the date above will change accordingly.
